UNIQUE HAND DRAWN INVITATIONS & EVENT CARDS
One of my all-time favorite projects for BUCHERER: a series of invitation cards for an exclusive event.
Each card featured one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, partially pre-printed and then hand-finished with watercolor – making every invitation its own small original. Among the pieces were the sparkling "Cocktail Rings", born in the 1920s as quiet acts of rebellion. "Flapper Girls" wore them into speakeasy bars, sparkling signals of a new kind of independence – a life lived slightly outside the rules.
I found myself drawn into their history, and into the stones themselves. One detail stayed with me: emeralds often carry an inner "jardin" – an organic pattern that shapes their color and, paradoxically, their value. Not a flaw that diminishes, but a mark that defines. As an artist, I found that aspect intriguing. The inner world, the imperfection, the thing that makes a piece – or a person – impossible to replicate.
Working with the Bucherer team was a true pleasure. Their dedication to timeless luxury, and the care they brought to every detail, made this a project I’ll always cherish.
Every card, a miniature original. Every gemstone, a character of its own.
It was a truly inspiring collaboration.
